吴长富，1970年1月出生，1996年获浙江大学力学系实验力学硕士学位，之后留系攻博两年后赴美深造，2003年从佛罗里达大西洋大学应用随机研究中心和机械工程系获得机械工程博士学位，现任美国食品和药物管理局（FDA）器械与放射健康中心（马里兰州银泉市）高级生物医学研究及生物医学产品评估专家 （Senior Biomedical Research and Biomedical Product Assessment Service Expert）。曾获美国国家科学基金会特殊创造力奖(Special Creativity Award)， 2019年入选美国医学与生物工程院（American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering，AIMBE）会士。2025年当选为美国国家工程院院士。
Changfu Wu, Ph.D., is a Senior Biomedical Research and Biomedical Product Assessment Service (SBRBPAS) Expert in FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health, where he performs scientific and regulatory reviews of heart valve devices and ventricular assist devices. He obtained his doctoral degree in mechanical engineering in 2003 from the Center for Applied Stochastics Research and Department of Mechanical Engineering at Florida Atlantic University. Prior to joining FDA in 2009, Dr. Wu completed his post-doctoral training in joint biomechanics at the Musculoskeletal Research Center of the University of Pittsburgh, and conducted academic research at the Artificial Organs Laboratory of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Wu is a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE).
